MILLSBORO - Vincent E. Fenick of Millsboro died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at home. He was 84.
Mr. Fenick was born July, 11 1923, in Coaldale, Pa., to the late Vincent and Catherine Horack Fenick.
He was the owner/operator of Mother Goose Dairyland in Leighton, Pa., for 12 years, until he retired in 1986.
Mr. Fenick was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.
He and his wife loved to vacation by the water and their vacations always involved ships.
Mr. Fenick was a quiet and gentle man who was extremely devoted to his wife; they were inseparable.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Fenick, in 1968.
Mr. Fenick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia (Jean) Leininger Fenick; one son, John Fenick of Reading, Pa.; and one grandson, Shane Fenick.
Services will be 3 p.m. Monday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call after 1 p.m. The Rev. Jeffrey Leininger will officiate.
Interment will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Catherine"s Cemetery, Sea Girt, N.J.
Instead of flowers, the family asks for contributions to Delaware Hospice, Southern Division, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
