DOVER — A vehicle’s tire was struck by gunfire Tuesday, Dover police said.
According to spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman, officers responded to the area of Otis Drive and South Little Creek Road at approximately 4:34 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they contacted a 19-year-old male, who advised that his tire had been shot.
Witnesses told officers that the suspect or suspects were in a small black vehicle when they fired and then fled the area, Sgt. Hoffman said.
