DOVER - After rain wiped out Thursday's DIAA state tournament games, a revamped schedule has been established.
In boys' lacrosse, Caesar Rodney High will now play Salesianum in the state semifinals on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Caravel Academy. The contest could not be played on Saturday because of CR's graduation.
The winner will then play Cape Henlopen in the state championship game on Wednesday at a time and site TBA. The title game could not be played on Tuesday because of Cape's graduation.
In baseball, Cape Henlopen and Appoquinimink will complete their state semifinal game today at 7 p.m. at Wilmington's Frawley Stadium. The contest will resume with the Vikings leading 2-0 with two outs in the top of the first inning.
The second state semifinal matchup, between Caravel and Salesianum, will be played on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Frawley. The game could not be played on Friday because of Sallies' graduation.
The baseball state finals are now slated for Sunday at 7 p.m. at Frawley.
Tickets are $6 for the semifinals and $7 for the finals.
