A person is sought in a theft investigation where a purse was stolen from an unattended shopping cart, spokesman Det. Timothy Maloney said.
The incident at Milford Walmart took place Tuesday and a black male approximately 6-foot-2 to 6-3 weighing 190 to 200 pounds is a person of interest, authorities said. The man was last seen driving a silver Nissan Altima with Delaware temporary registration and unknown tag number. Police also alleged that merchandise valued at over $1,000 was taken the night of Jan. 21. Milford Police asked anyone with information to contact Cpl. Ricketts at 422-8081 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted online at MilfordPoliceDE.org/tips/.
