DOVER — Two arrests followed a Saturday afternoon traffic stop where a vehicle was allegedly seen driving in the opposite direction and wrong lane of traffic.

Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said the incident occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. in the area of Boggs Drive and Buckson Drive. When the vehicle was stopped, Fletcher Tilghman, 20, of Dover, was detained along with two passengers, police said.

A 20-year-old Dover man fled from the vehicle and was arrested a short time later by officers searching the area. He was wanted for a violation of probation and also charged with resisting arrest. The man was then committed to Sussex Correctional Institution.

A vehicle search yielded 58 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and approximately 63 grams of PCP inside the var.

Mr. Tilghman was charged with possession of PCP, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and traffic offenses. He was released on an own recognizance bond.
