BRIDGEVILLE — Troy McNally, 24, Jemel Davis, 22, and Jeremiah Brown, 23, all from Magnolia, have been arrested by Delaware State Police for an alleged home invasion and related charges that took place in Bridgeville on Nov. 10, according to police spokesman Cpl. Amina Ali.
Troopers were dispatched to the 14000 block of Sussex Highway in Bridgeville on Nov. 10 at around 2 a.m. for a reported home invasion.
Cpl. Ali said an investigation found that three male suspects entered the residence and confronted a 34-year-old male victim in his bedroom.
The first suspect allegedly pistol-whipped the victim in the head and demanded money. The second suspect then allegedly brandished a knife and stabbed the victim in both legs, causing significant injury. He continued to stab the victim multiple times in the legs when he did not comply with the demands. The third suspect remained in the hallway outside of the bedroom.
The suspects then fled from the residence in the victim’s red Ford F350 pickup truck.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for injuries to the head and lower extremities.
The stolen vehicle was located in the 100 block of Cherry Drive, West Magnolia, and recovered by troopers on Dec. 16.
Through investigative means, troopers were able to identify the suspects as Mr. McNally, Mr. Davis and Mr. Brown.
On Dec. 8, Mr. McNally was taken into custody by Delaware State Police upon being discharged from an area hospital for unrelated injuries.
He was taken to Troop 4 in Georgetown where he was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, first-degree robbery, first-degree home invasion burglary, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, second-degree assault and second-degree conspiracy.
Mr. McNally was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown on a $167,000 cash bond.
On Dec. 15, Mr. Davis was arraigned by troopers at Sussex Correctional Institution and charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, first-degree robbery, first-degree home invasion burglary, second-degree assault and second-degree conspiracy.
He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $192,000 cash bond.
Mr. Brown was also taken into custody on Dec. 15 at the Sleep Inn at 18451 Coastal Highway in Lewes by the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.
He was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree home invasion burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and second-degree conspiracy.
Mr. Brown was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $124,000 cash bond.
