CAMDEN - Tricia Renee Martin passed away surrounded by family and friends on April 12, 2014. Tricia was born on Aug 1, 1971, in Dover to Robert F. Garrow and Sheila Larson Garrow. Tricia grew up in Dover and graduated from Caesar Rodney School District in 1989. After graduating, she attended and graduated from University of Delaware with a B.S in Biological Science and a minor in Psychology. She then earned a Masters and a Doctorate from Wilmington University in Educational Leadership. She then became an honored member of the Delaware's Principal Academy. Tricia will always be remembered by her smile, laughter and her enthusiasm that she brought to everyone she encountered. She loved being with family and friends to create memories that would last a lifetime. She brought clarity to cloudy situations with compassion, understanding and love. Tricia was a blessing to everyone around her and will be greatly missed. During her marriage to John Paul Martin, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Taryn Renee Martin, age 10. Tricia and her daughter Taryn's life ended way too soon and they are now entering into heaven together. Tricia was survived by her mother, Sheila Larson Garrow; her uncle, George Larson and his wife Mary, and cousins. In addition, she was survived by her dearest friends, Mary Lou Hurd, Mickey and Daisey Callaway, and Brad and Kristin Hannah. Tricia is preceded in death by her father, Robert F. Garrow and her paternal grandmother, Ruth Garrow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Tricia Renee Martin to one of the following charities: The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware (https://www.rmhde.org/donate-now) and to the Milford School District to help with a future memorial in Dr. Tricia Martin's honor. Calling hours and public viewing are to be held Friday April 18, 2014, from 6-9 p.m. at Tolbert Funeral Home, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd, Dover, DE. On Saturday, April 19, 2014 a viewing for close family and friends is available from 10 – 11 a.m,. with formal services beginning at 11 a.m. A private burial will follow the formal service. Tricia's family and friends would like to express their sincere appreciation for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
