Timothy David Ryan

MAGNOLIA - Timothy David Ryan passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at home. He was born Sept. 27, 1960 in Jersey City, N.J. to Francis X. Ryan and Virginia T. Kaiser. Tim lived in Woodcliff Lake, N.J. graduating from Pascack Hills High School. After high school, he attended Embry Riddle Aviation School in Daytona Beach, Fla., before entering the Air Force. He served in the United States Air Force for 21 years, retiring in 2005 as MSgt. After his military career he was employed by Kraft Foods. Tim attended Delaware TECH earning an Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance. At the time of his death he was a senior student at Delaware State University and had earned dual degrees in Aviation Management and Hotel and Tourism Management, which will be awarded posthumously. Tim was an active member of Redeemed Christian Church of God. He enjoyed collecting classic cars, playing the drums, fishing, the Dolphins football team, the beach and Island travel. However, most of all he enjoyed his children and had great pride in his country. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Francis X. Ryan; and his sister, Therese Ryan. Tim is survived by his mother, Dr. Virginia T. Kaiser of Tuxedo Park, N.Y.; his wife of six years, Anna Tipezenji Banda Ryan of Magnolia; children, Leigh Robinson and her husband Steve, Tyler "TJ" Ryan all of Lewes; Dylan Matthew Ryan, Natasha Kasemeka and Vanessa Suh-Neba of Magnolia; siblings, Shawn Francis Ryan and his wife Debra of Cary, N.C., Colleen Therese Ryan-Mayer and her husband Paul of Randolph, N.J., Kyle Damian Ryan of Nyack, N.Y. and Kelly Patrice Ryan-Gazdus and her husband John of Rumson, N.J.; and grandson, Lucas Ryan. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
