SEAFORD — TidalHealth Nanticoke honors the following four team members as Fourth Quarter 2021 Employees of the Quarter:

Teresa Bennington

Teresa Bennington, with Mother Baby, is one of the TidalHealth Nanticoke Fourth Quarter 2021 Employee of the Quarter for nursing services.
Ms. Bennington began her nursing career in June of 1983 on the Fox Wing and transferred to Mother Baby in 1987.

Ms. Bennington often puts others before herself. She tries to connect with all of her patients to help them feel at ease and is always willing to help her team members. She has a unique way of showing kindness and compassion to her patients and has an extraordinary talent for bringing a sense of peace and calmness. Because of this, she is known as “Mother Teresa.”

Allison Blakenship

Allison Blakenship, with the intensive care unit, is one of the TidalHealth Nanticoke Fourth Quarter 2021 Employees of the Quarter for nursing services.
Ms. Blakenship has been with TidalHealth Nanticoke since 2002. Allison is a designated charge nurse in the ICU, and is known for her work ethic and calm exterior during emergencies. She thinks creatively to reorganize assignments and tasks to keep the patient as the top priority. She is willing to take advantage of teachable moments and flex to accommodate any situation.

Ms. Blakenship is also very thoughtful. She is one of the first to think to send a flower, gift or wine basket to her fellow team members for a family event or a phenomenal job.

Jennifer Gonzalez

Jennifer Gonzalez, with physical medicine and rehabilitation, is the TidalHealth Nanticoke Fourth Quarter 2021 Employee of the Quarter for professional services.

Ms. Gonzalez is a doctor of physical therapy who has been with TidalHealth for seven years. She often puts others before herself, both inside and outside of work. She gives her patients her full attention and treats them with understanding, dignity and respect. She does not hesitate to take students under her wing and is an exceptional clinical instructor and mentor to students of all levels.

Davina Houston

Davina Houston, with outpatient registration, is the TidalHealth Nanticoke Fourth Quarter 2021 Employee of the Quarter for administrative and support services.

Ms. Houston started at TidalHealth Nanticoke in November 2008 and has demonstrated her dedication to the organization. Over the past two years, she has helped the registration team adjust to a new electronic medical record system, a new management structure and staffing shortages. She has a long history of perfect attendance at TidalHealth Nanticoke and has worked countless days and hours to help keep the registration areas up and running no matter what day of the week or hour of the day.
