MILFORD — Three men were arrested Wednesday on drug charges after Milford police executed a search warrant at the end of a monthlong investigation, authorities said.

According to Milford Police Department’s Detective Dwight Young, the search in the 400 block of South Walnut Street brought the arrests of Milford residents Kevin R. Lewis, 57, and Landon R. Lewis, 25, at the residence and Brian K. Finkbiner, 28, of Lincoln, in a business parking lot in the 500 block of South DuPont Highway.

Kevin Lewis was charged with possession of heroin Tier 5 quantity, possession with the intent to deliver heroin, possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree conspiracy.

Landon Lewis was charged with possession of heroin Tier 5 quantity, possession with the intent to deliver heroin (two counts), possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, second-degree conspiracy (two counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts).

Mr. Finkbiner was charged with possession of heroin Tier 2 quantity, possession of heroin Tier 5 quantity, possession with the intent to deliver Heroin (two counts), possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia (three counts) and second-degree conspiracy.

During the investigation, detectives seized approximately 598 bags of heroin, approximately 6.8 grams of cocaine, a firearm and multiple prescription medications, Detective Young said.

All three men were arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in default of cash bonds — Kevin Lewis for $47,000, Mr. Finkbiner for $89,000 and Landon Lewis for $60,000.

Police said Landon Lewis also was wanted by Milford Police for a separate incident and charged with felony failure to comply with a lease agreement.

Landon Lewis allegedly had leased property from a local rental business and failed to meet the leasing agreement and refused to return the property to the business, Detective Young said. Detectives recovered that property also during the search warrant at the residence, according to authorities.

Taking part in the South Walnut Street search warrant execution were the Milford Police Drugs and Narcotics Division, Milford Police Patrol Division, Special Operations Group and Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit, Detective Young said.
