DOVER — Three arrests were made after officers checked a room at Capital Inn on Wednesday, Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said.
Dover police were assisting Delaware Probation and Parole with a drug investigation at approximately 9:09 p.m. at the DuPont Highway motel. Dover residents Jerome Miller, 26, and Kelly Lawlor, 31, were located, along with Smyrna resident Phillip Nelson, 42.
Police said 17.2 grams of fentanyl and 112 grams of heroin were found during a search.
The three suspects were each charged with possession of fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and possession with intent to deliver heroin, along with second-degree conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Nelson also received a violation-of-probation charge.
Mr. Miller and Mr. Nelson were each committed to Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, on $31,500 cash bonds. Ms. Lawlor was released on a $31,500 unsecured bond.
