MILFORD - Thomas W. Moore passed away on Sun., Apr. 21, 2013 at the State Street Assisted Living in Dover. Thomas was born in Millsboro, Del. the son of the late Alvin T. and Margaret (Dickerson) Moore. He worked for Sun Oil Company as an engineer for 25 years retiring in 1986. He was a past member of Shawnee County Club. He enjoyed playing cards, horse racing and gambling. He loved old cars. He was a hard worker and loved to provide for his family. His great granddaughter, Rylan was the apple of his eye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Raye Ellen (Dayton) Moore in 2008. He is survived by his loving companion, Pat Wheeler of Viola; children, Tonya Rothermel and her husband David of Milford, Deena Day and her husband Scott of Mt. Airy, N.C. and Kristin Moore and her fiance', Dwayne Mousley of Lewes; 12 grandchildren, Kyle Rothermel, Morgan Albert and husband Ryan, Taylor Rothermel, Kane Rothermel, Aaron Day, Kaitlin Day, Lauren-Ashley Oakley, Keegan Day, Aashton Day, Kaaden Day, Aadisyn Day and Aadler Day; three great grandchildren, Rylan Raye Albert, Aaspyn Oakley and Kylin Lister. Funeral Services will be held Fri., Apr. 26, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton, DE.
