OCEAN CITY - Thomas Patrick Janson died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, at his home. Born in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of the late Joseph and Agnes Cocran Janson.
He had been owner/operator of Ponzetti's Pizza, with locations in Salisbury, Ocean City and Seaford. He attended Holy Savior Catholic Church in Ocean City and was a member of the Sinepuxent Rod and Gun Club and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Janson; his children, Stephen Janson of Ocean City, Daniel Janson of Ocean City and Thomas Janson of Whaleyville; seven grandchildren; and a niece and two nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Parugine.
A mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Ocean City. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park in Berlin.
