Thomas Lamont Johnson Jr., 42

MILTON - Thomas Lamont Johnson Jr. of Milton died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, in his car after it drifted off the side of a road after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 42.

Mr. Johnson was born Oct. 4, 1964, in Frankford, son of the late Thomas Sr. and Lillie Johnson.

He served three years with the U.S. Navy.

After an honorable discharge, he worked for the past 16 years for Phillip Jackson of American Tree Care, Lewes.

He is survived by his companion and friend, Sheila Wilborn of Milton; two sons, Tavon Cherry of Felton and Tommy Grant of Ciera, Fla.; three brothers, Antonio Johnson of Selbyville, Andre R. Johnson of Salisbury, Md., and Nickki Farlow of Frankford; and four sisters, Gwendolyn Drummond of Frankford, Darlean Handy of Roxana, Pandora Waples of Millsboro and Gail Thornton of Baltimore.

Services will be noon Saturday in Calvary Pentecostal Church, U.S. 113, Bishopville, Md., where friends may call an hour earlier.

Elders Rose Hall and Melissa Dukes will officiate.

Arrangements by Miller Funeral Service, Lewes.
