DOVER - Thomas J. "Tom" Dougherty III, 58, of Dover, passed away Dec. 20, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Gina; a daughter, Marie Dougherty; two sons, Thomas J. Dougherty IV and Robert Dougherty; two sisters, Delores Schmidt and Cassie Moyer; his mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, JoAnne and Alfred Sammons and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 24, at Ewell St. Paul United Methodist Church, 401 West Street in Clayton, where friends may visit with his family one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Immanuel Union United Methodist Cemetery in Cheswold.
