Thomas H. Brown

DELMAR - Thomas H. Brown died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Andrew Jackson Brown and Anna G. Wootten Brown.
He and his twin brother, George, were raised on a farm on Sandy Hill Road in Wetipquin. In his early years he began working on the water in Nanticoke, crabbing and oystering. Once moving to Delmar with his brother, they became known as the "Brown Brothers" to all those who knew them. They spent the next 40 years working together for P&A Paving and then for Chesapeake Paving.
He is survived by his twin brother, George Brown of Delmar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosalee Jones.
A funeral service was held Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Interment followed in Wetipquin Cemetery.
