FELTON - Thomas C. Wester entered the gates of heaven on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012. He was born in Izmere, Turkey on Sept. 21, 1957, to the late Charles E. Wester and Angela Wester, Dover. Tom enjoyed every minute of his 16 years as a loader operator at Tilcon, Delaware, in Dover. He was a wonderful friend and loved his family and friends dearly. Tom was a simple man, who enjoyed simple things. He loved to deer hunt and was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He also was a big Redskins fan. He is survived by his high school sweetheart of nearly 35 years, Ann K. Rutledge Wester, and two loving children, Kristina M. Wester, and Lucas R. Wester, both of Felton. He also adored his dog and companion, Abby. He leaves behind three brothers; one sister; and beloved in-laws, Charles and Machele Wester, Frederica, Michael and Tami Wester, Parker, Pa., Henry and Linda Wester, Dover, Martha Lucas and Allen Daub, Dover; mother-in-law, Willa E. Rutledge, Hawthorne, Fla.; and brother-in-laws, William L. and Clare Rutledge, Tampa, Fla., and Edward G. Rutledge. He also left behind many nieces; nephews; and ten great nieces and nephews, Filomena Wester, Charles McPhee, Daniel Garrett, Matthew Garrett, Andrew Wester, Jennifer Wester, Ashley Wester, Douglas Wester, Thomas Wester, Jack Wester, Anthony Wester, Cody Wester and Patricia Butterfield. Viewing will be at Trader Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will also be at Trader Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Barrat's Chapel in Frederica, Del.
