SALISBURY - Thomas Isaac Brittingham, 84, of Salisbury, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Willards, he was the son of the late John Marion Brittingham and Hazel T. Palmer Brittingham. He retired as a housing specialist for Perdue Farms after 30 years. He was a member of Delmarva Evangelistic Church in Salisbury and Assembly of God in Selbyville. He enjoyed playing his guitar for various gospel groups including his family group known as "The Brittingham Family." He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Clara Mae White Brittingham; a daughter, Terri Lee Ward of Salisbury; a son, John Edgar Brittingham of Pennsylvania; three stepchildren, Valerie Funk of Ridgely, Floyd Bozman Jr. of Princess Anne and Samuel Bozman of Princess Anne; four grandchildren; a brother, Jack Brittingham of Pittsville; three sisters, Doris LaCurts of Fruitland, Barbara Parker of Pittsville and Brenda Long of Willards. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy "Sister" Ann Rayne Brittingham in 1970; and four brothers, Billy, James, Cliff and Chester Brittingham. A funeral service was held on Saturday at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment followed at Wicomico Memorial Park.
