Thigpen: Libraries’ computer outage should be fixed by now

How much longer will the Delaware libraries’ public computer system be offline?

The system was hit by a “ransomware” hack about a month ago, and it has not been in operation since.

Many people in Delaware depend on the libraries’ system to conduct business and personal activities because we don’t have internet at home.

How vulnerable are the rest of the state’s government offices and business facilities?

What other business would accept a monthlong outage from their systems department?
