MILFORD - Theresa B. Scomak died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was born in Jersey City, N.J. to the late Alexander and Anna Wisniewski. Mrs. Scomak was a homemaker. She lived her entire life in New Jersey until about 15 years ago when she moved to Delaware. She loved to cook and watch old movies. Her favorite movie stars were John Garfield, Betty Davis, and Judy Garland. She loved her family very much and cherished the time she could spend with them. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son, Stanley Scomak of Fords, N.J.; daughters, Christine Docherty of Milford, Del., JoAnn Solari of Bayonne, N.J.; sister, Irene Bauer of Bricktown, N.J.; grandchildren, Kevin Docherty Jr., Amie Docherty, Courtney Docherty, Nicholas Solari, Brittany Solari; and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service.
