Thelma Lou Cruise

DOVER - Thelma Lou Cruise passed away, Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at home.
Mrs. Cruise was born June 6, 1938 in Aurora, Mo. to the late Delbert O. Fugitt and Vada Harold Ailshie Fugitt.
She was a homemaker and had worked for Ford Nisson Vehicle Transporter and retired in 2008 from JGM Transportation in Dover. Mrs. Crusie loved her family pets, Sudoku puzzles, her game shows, Judge Judy and her I Pad. She enjoyed Christmas and the family time involved.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Harold Cruise; and sister, Sharon Clokey.
She is survived by her nephews and niece, Robert, Sr., Michael, Creola and Christopher and Jessica; great nieces and nephews, Avery, Angila, Bryana, Callie, Dakota, Scarlett, Jonte and Robert, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be 1 p.m., Friday at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to First State Animal Shelter and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Dover, DE 19934.
