GREENSBORO, Md. - Thelma Frances Minner, 95, of Greensboro passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Envoy of Denton. She was born on Jan. 21, 1917, in Clayton, to the late James Day Simpson and Sarah Ann Hickman Simpson. Mrs. Minner owned and operated the Greensboro Grill, worked for the Denton Garment Factory and Therma-Link. Later in her working career she was a care giver for the elderly. She was a member of the St. Paul's Methodist Church, Greensboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas; two brothers, Lex Simpson, and Carroll Simpson; two sisters, Merle Roth and Peggy Curtis. She is survived by five children, James Minner and wife Donna of Greensboro, Nancy Bouziden and husband Frank of Utica, N.Y., Peggy Butler and husband Hugh of Felton, Del., Elaine Cohee and friend Dan Ammons of Manassas, Va., Dale Minner and wife Candy of Denton; nine grandchildren, Steve Callahan, Pam Davis, Loren Cohee, Scotty Minner, Vincent Butler, Tina Post, Fran Bouziden, Sarah Dahl, and Zach Minner; 13 great-grandchildren and caregiver, Shirley Michal. A funeral service for Mrs. Minner will be 2 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2012, at the Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro. Burial will follow in the Greensboro Cemetery.
