Thelma E. Davidson

NASSAU – Thelma E. Davidson passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at Beebe Medical Center. Thelma was born in Milton, daughter of the late Hall D. and Clara (Richards) Reed. She worked as a secretary and retired several years ago from White Packing in Lewes, and had also worked at Master Dry Cleansing. Thelma was a member of Whites Chapel U.M. Church and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed needlework and cooking. In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Davidson; a brother, Leighton Reed; and three sisters, Ann Clifton, Grace Reed, and Clara Almira Wilkerson. She is survived by three siblings, Hall "Sonny" Reed, Jr., Milton, Howard Reed, Ellendale, and Charlotte Bailey, Milford; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at Noon in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, Del with visitation after 11:00am. Burial will be in Whites Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Whites Chapel U.M. Church, 15357 Coastal Highway, Milton, Del 19968.
