CAMBRIDGE - Teresa Paul, 44, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Dorchester General Hospital.

Funeral arrangements, which are incomplete, are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge. A complete obituary will appear in the next edition of The Daily Banner.

James Edward "Eddie Boy" Saunders Sr.

LAUREL, Md. - James Edward "Eddie Boy" Saunders Sr. passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Greater Laurel Regional Medical Center in Laurel, after a lengthy illness.

Born May 21, 1934 in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Arthur and Cornelius Saunders.

He attended the public schools in Dorchester County and was employed with Bumble Bee Tuna until the plant closed and the J.R. Reynolds Plant until his health failed.

James was married to Lillie Mae Fletcher Shalto for 46 years.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Mae Fletcher Shalto; seven children, Rosie Perry (Edvon), James Edward Saunders Jr., Yolanda Johnson (Anthony), Terry Saunders (Diane), Gina Saunders, Reginald Saunders, Troy Wongus and Amanda Shalto; 16 grandchildren, Natasha Saunders, Mina Saunders Powell, Keyonda Meekins, Eugene Saunders, Tekelia Saunders, Anthony Johnson Jr., Shaundel Saunders, Powell, Nytia Perry, Kevin Saunders, Terrell Johnson, Chardon Saunders, Angel Saunders, Jerry Mobley, Jabreya Barrows, Terry Saunders Jr., and Brandon Steele; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Saunders (Octavene); two sisters, Mae Thomas and Evelyn Allen; and a number of cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Refuge Temple Church of God, 800 Robbins St., Cambridge. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.

There will be a viewing Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home, PA., 510 Washington St., Cambridge.
