Sussex Academy places in Delaware Invitational Math League

GEORGETOWN — Students across the state participated in the Delaware Secondary School Mathematic League High School Division Invitational and Awards Banquet on March 28, and several Sussex Academy students qualified to participate.

Their results:

  • Alexander Boswell, 12th grade, placed first in Region 8.
  • Ninth graders Noah Benz, Oliver Graves, Katya Geyer and Kieran Probst and eighth grade student Jack Thomas participated as a ninth grade team and placed first in Region 8 and in the top 10 in the state.
  • Jack also competed with ninth graders from across the state and was one of four who received a perfect score. He finished fourth overall for the state and first in Region 8.
  • Noah finished second in Region 8.
