DOVER - Cameron Vincent, 30, of Dover, was arrested following a stolen vehicle complaint early Thursday, authorities said.
Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said investigation began when a call was received reporting a vehicle stolen in Pennsylvania was located at 820 Carvel Drive in Dover.
Officers responded to the area at 12:08 a.m. and located the vehicle, and confirmed it was stolen. While canvasing the area, officers located Mr. Vincent and a search revealed he was in possession of the keys for the stolen vehicle, police said.
Mr. Vincent was taken into custody without incident and a computer check revealed he had a warrant from the State of California for a parole violation. He was charged with receiving stolen property and out of state fugitive. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution without bail.
