Stephen Christopher Smisson DOVER - Stephen Christopher Smisson, of Dover, died Monday, March 29, 2010, at Kent General Hospital. He was 23. Stephen was born Nov. 14, 1986, at the Dover Air Force Base to Charlie T. Smisson Jr. and Carol Hsiao-Huei Smisson. He was a student at the University of Delaware being in his senior year majoring in Sociology. Stephen was a big sports fan especially the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Redskins and enjoyed playing video games and intramural sports. He was a member of the Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Delaware and the Dover Air Force Base Chapel. Stephen is survived by his parents, Charlie and Carol Smisson of Dover; brother, Burton T. Smisson of Raleigh, N.C.; and sister, Cassandra P. Smisson of Houston, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 5, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover. Interment will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to American Society of Hematology, 2021 L Street NW, Suite 900, Washington, DC 20036; or the Make A Wish Foundation, Step 1: Download Mail-In Donation Form Step 2: Mail completed form along with a personal check, money order or credit card information to the following address: Make-A-Wish Foundation of America Gift Processing Center, P.O.
