Stanton Crandall Lallier

MILTON - Stanton Crandall Lallier, of Milton, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at Bayhealth/Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 70. Stanton was born in Adams, N.Y., the son of the late Francis and Sarah (Crandall) Lallier. For 10 years, he was a concrete pipe foreman for A.P. Croll & Son, retiring in 1980. He enjoyed watching football, bowling, fishing and riding his motorcycle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Tim Lallier. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Katherine Lallier; and four children, Evan Lallier and wife Carol of Ellendale, Mary Katherine Messick and husband Ronnie of Ellendale, Mark Lallier and his wife Yvonne of Milton, and Jennifer Howard of Milford; four brothers, three sisters, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to: Milton Volunteer Fire Co., 116 Front St., Milton, DE 19968; or the Delaware Veterans Nursing Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd., Milford, DE 19963.
