Aaron Scott netted 21 points as St. Thomas More rolled to a 92-36 victory over Salisbury Christian in boys’ basketball on Monday.

The Ravens jumped out to a 48-20 halftime lead as they evened their record at 1-1.

Zion Cole added 19 points for St. Thomas More, which lost to Hodgson, 75-71, on Sunday.

St. Georges Tech 73, Caesar Rodney 47: The Hawks outscored the Riders, 22-8, in the third quarter to break open a five-point game in CR’s season opener on Sunday evening.

The contest was part of the Rumble at the River tournament, which was hosted by St. Georges.

Sophomore Davione Robinson netted a team-high 15 points for the Riders with Jaquan Hooks adding 13.

Lamar Hamrick had a game-high 18 points as three Hawks scored in double figures. St. Georges sank seven three-pointers.

Girls’ basketball

Delmarva Christian 48, Gunston Day School, Md. 29: Camryn Breasure and Elizabeth Stevens tallied nine points apiece to pace the Royals to the win.

Delmarva Christian opened up a 32-10 lead by halftime.

College field hockey

Pair of Hens honored: Two Delaware field hockey players have been named NFHCA All-Americans for the first time since 2004.

Junior Esmée Peet earned first-team honors, becoming the first Delaware player to do so since Michelle Rosenbaum was named a first-team honoree in 1988. Senior Michaela Patzner joined Peet as a third-team selection.

Peet is a two-time honoree after being named a NFHCA second-team All-American last year. She led the Blue Hens this season with 15 goals and six assists for 36 points.

The midfielder is currently tied for ninth in program history with 95 points (39 goals, 17 assists). Her 39 goals are also good to tie for eighth all-time.

Patzner is also a two-time All-American after collecting third-team accolades in 2013. She had 21 points on 12 goals and eight assists.

College soccer

UD’s Zelenky earns honor: Delaware junior women’s soccer standout Natalie Zelenky has been selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division I Women’s All-Mid Atlantic Region team.

A forward, Zelenky was selected to the third team and was one of 36 players honored on the three teams. She led the team in scoring with 11 goals and one assist for 23 points while also pacing the Hens with five game-winning goals and 57 shots.
