The increasing popularity of Delaware State Parks resulted in record-breaking attendance for the eighth straight year in 2022, surpassing 8 million visitors overall. Visitor attendance at the locations has increased each year since 2015. And, in the past five years alone, visitation is up 37%. The most visited site in 2022 was Cape Henlopen, with 1.9 million guests, accounting for almost 1 in 4 of all park visits.
