The Philadelphia Eagles clinched a playoff berth Dec. 11. Despite their league-best record, pundits still put other teams ahead of them in power rankings, giving them lower odds to make the Super Bowl than others. Do you think the Birds have what it takes to win it all this season?

• The Eagles are my team. Follow them, good or bad. They have all they need to go all the way. But what I love about football is any team can beat any team on any given day. The Texans, with one win, almost beat the Cowboys, who had more wins. But, then again, we are talking the Cowboys, so that wouldn’t have been that big of a shock. — Stan Sipple

Riley, Hubbard coming to Delaware State Fair

Two country artists have been added to the 2023 Delaware State Fair Concert Series. Fair officials announced Dec. 16 that singer Riley Green will play the M&T Grandstand on July 24, while Tyler Hubbard, formerly of the country duo Florida Georgia Line, will close the fair July 29.
