S.M.Sgt Hunter A. Bryant Jr., 64

FELTON - S.M.Sgt Hunter A. Bryant Jr., passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, in Washington, D.C. He was 64. He was born in Soft Shell, Ky. and raised in Hampton, Va. A Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving our country in the Vietnam and Desert Storm Wars, he retired in 1991 after 28 years of service. He was a WalMart associate for 17 years. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jeannette Bryant of Felton; his four daughters, Yvonne Bryant of Md., Anjanette Bryant of Seattle, Wash., Anna Maria Kunak of Spartanburg, S.C., and Angela Salas of Hampton, Va.; his five grandchildren, Melina Fotopoulos, Jonathan and Vincent Spaulding, and Jordan and Kyle Tynan; brother, Barry Bryant of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister, Brenda Copley of Hampton, Va.; and many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. October 15, 2008 at St Bernadette's Catholic Church in Harrington. Burial will be 11 a.m. November 3, 2008 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
