As part of the school district’s 100th anniversary as the first consolidated school district in the state of Delaware, the Caesar Rodney School District hosted a Centennial Gala celebration Saturday from 6 until 11:30 p.m. at the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino.
The black-tie-optional evening began with a social hour followed by dinner, guest speakers, creation of a centennial time capsule, a “look back” at the 100 years of the Caesar Rodney School District, a live auction, dancing after dinner with Mike Hines and the Look and more.
The Caesar Rodney High School Jazz Ensemble and the award-winning Air Force Junior ROTC drill team also performed.
