Shots fired at Manchester Square entrance

DOVER — Several rounds were fired at a vehicle as it was leaving the Manchester Square neighborhood and turning onto White Oak Road, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Tim Stump said.

A 36-year-old man was driving at approximately 11:47 p.m. when a black SUV pulled in front of him and a black male passenger fired several rounds in his direction, police said. The victim fled and stated that the suspect vehicle followed him, continuing to fire rounds in his direction.

The victim was not injured, police said.

Police asked anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delawarecrimestoppers.com; a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to an arrest.
