DOVER — Investigation into a shooting that resulted in two homes being struck on Forrest Avenue, Dover Police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.
The investigation began when officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of Forrest Avenue for a criminal mischief complaint, police said. It was determined that the house had been struck by gunfire, police said.
While on scene, another victim in the same block of Forrest Avenue advised that their home and property had been struck by gunfire as well, police said.
Based on information obtained by detectives, it is believed that this incident occurred overnight Monday into early Tuesday morning, police said.
Police said there are no leads at this time.
Both homes were occupied at the time of the shootings and no injuries were reported, police said.
