Sharon LaVerne Crabson

Crabson, 47 GIRDWOOD, Alaska - Sharon LaVerne Crabson, of Girdwood, Alaska, died on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Talbot Hospice House in Easton. She was 47. Sharon was born on March 11, 1967 in Front Royal, Virginia. She was the daughter of William and LaVerne Crabson of Easton, Md. Ms. Crabson attended the Sheffield School of Design, was a Specialized Painting Graduate and was currently enrolled in the Stratford Career Institute. She was a member of the National Association of Self-Employed. Sharon adopted Alaska as her new home in 1997. In 2007, she began I.P. (Immortal Peace) Designs, Inc., launching her career as an interior designer. Before Alaska, Sharon lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., working in both retail and hospitality. Sharon is survived by her parents, William and LaVerne Crabson; a brother, Brian Crabson; and sister, Nancy Guillemart; nieces, Abigail Guillemart, Renie Pedigo; a nephew, Luke Guillemart; and a close friend, Amy McKenzie. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Jeannette Doyle Beurrier. A gathering will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., 200 S. Harrison St., Easton, Md. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2014 at at Salvation Army, Cambridge, Md.
