DOVER — Seven Walgreens locations in Delaware are distributing free N95 masks to the public, while supplies last.
These masks are provided by the federal government as the Biden administration plans to make 400 million free N95 masks available from the national stockpile.
Walgreens said two of its Dover locations received these masks — 261 N. DuPont Highway and 1215 S. State Street.
Masks were also shipped to Walgreens in Camden (2480 S. DuPont Highway), Magnolia (52 W. Birdie Lane), Harrington 17248 (S. DuPont Highway), New Castle (287 Christiana Road) and Bear (1120 Pulaski Highway).
Masks are limited to three per person.
Delaware Division of Public Health locations will not have the free masks. They were shipped to participating pharmacies in the Federal Pharmacy Retail Program, which also provide COVID-19 vaccines.
According to CDC, other stores in Delaware who received masks are Acme, CVS, Costco, Rite Aid and Walmart. Although these stores have not announced which Delaware locations had masks shipped to them.
