Samuel E. Moore

LINCOLN - Samuel E. Moore, Jr., passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare.
He was born in Milton, son of the late Samuel E. Sr., and Matilda (Megee) Moore.
Samuel worked as a painting contractor for many years. He was a member of the NRA, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred (Leppo) Moore; three children, Brenda Lee Watkins, of Harrington, Samuel Dean Moore and his wife, Suzanne, and Charles Harry Moore and companion, Debbie Morgan, all on Lincoln; five grandchildren, Danielle Brinkley and husband, Tony, Leeann Watkins and fiancé, Robert Custins, Amanda Moore, Katherine Moore, and Allen Shuhart and wife ,Breanna; three great-grandchildren, Charlotte Shuhart, Malaki Brinkley, and Samara Brinkley; a brother, Wayne Moore, of Milford; and two sisters, Pat Moore, of Georgetown, and Mary Carey, of Alaska.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, with visitation after 12 p.m.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
