Ruth Kinney

DOVER - Ruth Kinney of Dover, died November 16, 2014 at Bay Health Medical Center in Dover. Her age was 87. Born in Methuen, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen Dolbick Deleu. Mrs. Kinney had worked for the Darlington Fabric Co. and later at the Barnhill Nursing Center both located in Newton, N.J. She had moved from Newton, N.J. to Dover in 1992. She had been an active member of the Dover Modern Maturity Center where she was involved with the Meals on Wheels Program. Besides her parents and two sisters she was predeceased by her husband of 55 yrs., Peter D. Kinney; and by her son, Michael Kinney. Mrs. Kinney leaves her daughter, Barbara Kimble, of Branchville, N.J.; and her son, James Kinney of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Deleu, of N.C.; and one grandchild. Graveside Services will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery located in Newton, N.J. Life's End Services are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc.
