SEAFORD - Ruth E. Shrieves died on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Mrs. Shrieves was the daughter of the late Victor and Esta Davidson. She retired From Perdue after 32 years of service. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, watching Chuck Norris movies and most importantly spoiling any and all children. She never met a child she did not consider family. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Pee Wee" Shrieves. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ann Dodd and her husband David with whom she lived; step children, Cathy Lee, Luke Steele, Russell Steele, Vernon Steele Jr. and their spouses; and 13 step grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Sara, Dori, Anna, Martha, Curtis, Donald and their spouses; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be 11 a.m., on Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Ruth E. Shrieves Memorial Fund at any Bank of Delmarva branch.
