DAVIDSONVILLE - Ruth Condon Davidson, 95, formerly of Cambridge, died on Monday night, March 17, 2008 at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis.

Born on July 10, 1912 at Thomas in Dorchester County, she was the daughter of the late William Condon and Mamie Woollen Condon.

In August of 1928 she married William E. Davidson Sr. Mr. Davidson died on Dec. 11, 1978.

Mrs. Davidson worked at various sewing factories.

Her hobbies included traveling and bus trips.

Surviving is a son, William E. Davidson Jr. and his wife, Frances of Cambridge; a daughter, Denise Davidson Jenkins and her husband, Mark of Davidsonville; six grandchildren, Debbie Tapper, Donnie Davidson, Keith Davidson, Kevin Davidson, Christopher Jenkins and Lauren Jenkins; five great-grandchildren, Tess Tapper, Spencer Davidson, Halie Davidson, Olivia Davidson and Courtney Thomas, several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death, besides her parents and husband, were her 12 siblings, Elmer Condon, Mary Warfield, Raymond Condon, Sarah Warfield, Ida Hodgson, Beatrice Condon, Alice Greenwell, Florence Schaffner, Rob Condon, Bessie Smith, Louis Condon and Ella Marshall.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Sam McWilliams. Burial will follow at East New Market Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Davidson, Keith Davidson, Kevin Davidson, Mark Jenkins, Christopher Jenkins and Spencer Davidson.

Expressions of sympathy may be made by sending flowers or making memorial donations in Mrs. Davidson's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Maryland Chapter, 825 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Suite H-J, Linthicum, MD 21090.
