EASTON - Ruth Ann Ferguson Johnson, 48, died on Thursday, May 8, 2008.
Born in Easton on March 16, 1960, she was the daughter of the late David and Harriet McDonal Ferguson. Following her graudation in 1978 from Easton High School she worked at Black and Decker in Easton for more than 20 years. She later worked at Lowes of Easton until 2007 when she retired for health reasons.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Eldon Johnson whom she married in 1996; her daughter and best friend, Ashley B. Hamilton of Mississippi; a son, Eldon "Bubba" Johnson III of Easton; four sisters, Lois Benett and her husband, Chuck of Cambridge; Patti Mitchell and her husband, Justin, Karen Carroll and her husband, Mark and Betsy Bryan and her husband, Richard; one granddaughter, Cheyanne Grace; a special aunt, Penny Cannon; an uncle, Jim Cooper; three nieces and two nephews and a special friend, Carol Mullins.
Funeral serviceds will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, PA in Easton. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Easton.
Donations may be made to a fund for her granddaughter, Cheyanne Grace Hamilton, c/o Carol Mullins, 30343 Kate's Point Road, Trappe, MD 21673.
