Edwards, 84 LEWES - Rubin Kenneth Edwards, formerly of Riverside N.J., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Delaware Hospice Center. He is the son of the late Rubin Edwards and Mary ( Holly) Edwards. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Rubin Edwards; a daughter, Margaret Ann Todd; brothers, Roger and Clovis Edwards; and a sister, Mary Jane Metts. He was self employed as a home builder and also worked for Wescott Construction. For many years he drove a school bus for Cape Henlopen High School. He served in the US Navy and attended Eagle's Nest Fellowship Church and Crossroad Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Edwards; two children, Susan Sabin and Judy McMichael; a step daughter, Lisa Terrinoni; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on noon Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Rd, Georgetown, DE., where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be private. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Milford, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE. 19963.
