MILFORD - Roy David Rhodes, of Milford, passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at Bayhealth/Milford Memorial Hospital. Roy was born on December 18, 1954, in Dover, Del., son of Katherine E. (Duhamel) Rhodes and the late Leon Anthony Rhodes. Roy was a repair technician in the automobile industry and was owner and operator of Aertech, in Milford. He loved working on motorcycles and scooters. In addition to his father, Roy was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Norman Rhodes and William Rhodes. Roy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda (Grant) Rhodes; his mother, Katherine E. (Duhamel) Rhodes, of Greensboro, Md.; two sisters, Teresa Gleockler and Doris Rhodes; a half-brother, Ralph Willis, of Milford; and a half-sister, Virginia Valentine, of Lewes. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford with visitation from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Greensboro Cemetery.
