Salesianum rolled to a 42-0 victory over Dover High in a nonconference football matchup on Friday night.

The victory was the second in a row for the Sals (5-2), who got touchdowns from four different players.

It was also Sallies’ second-straight shutout and third of the season.

The Senators lost their second game in a row to fall to 2-5.

Woodbridge 48, Indian River 0: The Raiders (3-0 South, 7-0 overall) remained unbeaten with the decisive victory.

Woodbridge has now gone four straight games without allowing a point and has five shutouts overall.

The Raiders also own a 12-game regular-season winning streak.

Glasgow 28, Lake Forest 6: The undefeated Dragons (7-0) gradually pulled away after leading only 8-0 at halftime.

Elle Harden scored the lone touchdown for the Spartans (0-7) on a 42-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Sussex Tech 41, Polytech 14: Jordan Waters ran for a pair of second-quarter touchdowns as the Ravens posted the Henlopen North win.

Polytech led 6-0 when Doug Reed ran 80 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. But Sussex Tech opened up a 35-6 lead by halftime.

Deshown Sample capped off the Ravens’ scoring with a 69-yard TD run. Tyzhir Morris also ran for a touchdown and threw a 22-yard scoring pass to Noah Jones.

Christian Littleton added a TD on a 36-yard interception return.

Polytech’s other touchdown came on a Stephen Baione’s one-yard scoring catch from Ben Morphus.

Delmar 54, Seaford 14: Brooks Parker ran for 117 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries to pace the Wildcats to the Henlopen South win.

Destin Ryder also scored twice, finishing with 64 yards on three carries. Overall, 15 players carried the ball for Delmar, which finished with 403 yards on the ground.

College field hockey

Delaware 7, Towson 0: The No. 8 Blue Hens (4-0 CAA, 14-2) broke the school record with their 10th consecutive win while earning their sixth straight berth into the CAA Tournament.

Junior Taylor Lister and sophomore Greta Nauck led the Hens with two goals apiece.

Nauck moved into second place in Delaware single-season history with 21 goals. Caesar Rodney High grad Casey Howard holds the record with 22 goals set in 2009.

College volleyball

Charleston 3, Delaware 0: The Blue Hens’ three-match winning streak ended with the loss on Friday night.

The Cougars captured the match by set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-23 as they improved to 14-7 overall and 7-2 in the Colonial Athletic Association. Delaware, which was coming off home wins over William & Mary and James Madison last weekend, dropped to 8-14 overall and 2-7 in league play.

Blue Hen senior Autumn Jenkins paced UD with a team-leading 12 kills against just two errors, while Daria Robinson added five kills and a team-high four blocks on the night. Erin Layne posted her first double-double of the season with 27 assists and 13 digs, while Taylor Hollingsworth led the Blue Hens with 15 digs.
