Alexis Reid and Kylie Kornegay-Lucas combined for 50 points as Caesar Rodney High rolled to an 80-50 victory over St. Mark’s in girls’ basketball on Tuesday night.

Reid, who sank six three-pointers, finished with 26 points while Kornegay-Lucas added 24 as the Riders (14-1) bounced back from their first loss of the season.

CR opened up a 21-6 lead by halftime of the nonconference contest.

Milford 57, St. Thomas More 50: The Buccaneers outscored the Ravens, 21-2, in the third quarter to overcome a four-point halftime deficit.

Rajene Bowe scored a team-high 22 points for Milford with Jameshia Baker adding 15, including three three-pointers.

Aniah Patterson had a game-high 23 points for St. Thomas More while Kaylah Barnes scored 14.

Concord 78, Smyrna 47: The Raiders jumped out to a 26-9 first-quarter lead en route to the victory.

Melena Credle had 19 points with Jayla Smith adding 18 to pace the Eagles.

Sussex Central 69, Seaford 29: Ambria Stratton tallied a game-high 21 points as the Golden Knights improved to 10-5.

Baleigh Lambert (12) and Tashara Houston (10) also scored in double figures for Central.

The Blue Jays’ Tamara Evans had a team-high 18 points.

Sussex Tech 43, Appoquinimink 27: Rukiya Davis scored 10 points for the Ravens (11-3), who stretched their winning streak to seven games in a row with the nonconference victory.

Sussex Tech held a 26-13 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Boys’ basketball

Smyrna 51, Concord 29: Caleb Matthews netted 19 points in the Eagles’ nonconference win.

Smyrna (12-2) built a 28-14 halftime advantage before picking up their seventh win in a row.

St. Mark’s 57, Caesar Rodney 55: The Spartans outscored the Riders 12-10 in overtime in snapping CR’s seven-game winning streak.

Najee Watson sank a three-pointer with 11.8 seconds left in regulation for the Riders to tie the contest at 45-45.

Joseph Williams scored a team-high 15 points for CR with Watson adding nine points on three three-pointers.

Woodbridge 74, Polytech 41: Trailing by four, the Raiders outscored the Panthers by a combined 58-14 in the second and third quarters to pull away.

Cornell Corbin (19 points), Te’Vion Waters (14) and Hassan Corbin (13) all finished in double figures for Woodbridge.

Carter Chasanov netted a team-high 11 points for Polytech.

Lake Forest 79, Sussex Academy 29: Senior Cameron Lewis poured in 30 points as the Spartans posted the Henlopen South victory.

Isaiah Morris, who scored 12 points, and Lewis hit three three-pointers apiece for Lake.

College baseball

Wesley picked 7th in CAC: The Wesley College baseball team was picked to finish seventh in the Capital Athletic Conference preseason poll.

Defending CAC champion and preseason No. 24-ranked Salisbury was picked to win the conference with Frostburg St. voted second.

Led by sixth-year coach Bret Underwood, the Wolverines are coming off a 20-win campaign in 2016 and their ninth straight appearance in the CAC Tournament.

The Wolverines open the season at home on Feb. 25 when they take on Norwich in a doubleheader.
