Delmar 56, Indian River 0: A.J. Angello and Ni’Juier Gaines each had a pair of rushing touchdowns to lead Delmar to a Henlopen Conference South Division win.
The Wildcats are 4-0 and have won their last 15 games.
Woodbridge 34, Laurel 21: The Blue Raiders held off a late charge by the Bulldogs for a Henlopen South victory.

College field hockey
Delaware 3, Drexel 0: Senior goalie Sydney Rhodes logged five saves for her first career shutout.
Freshman Laurien Vink led off the scoring attack with her fourth goal of the season in the ninth minute as she connected on a penalty corner with assists from sophomore Femke Strien and junior Ally Pollak.
Delaware (5-5, 1-0 CAA) capitalized on another penalty corner in the 13th minute as senior Lisa Giezeman captured her 30th career goal with assists coming from Strien and fellow senior Kiki Bink.
Freshman Tessa Verweijen put in the final goal of the evening in the 41st minute with a high shot to the left of the net from approximately three yards out.
College volleyball
Charleston 3, Delaware 0: With the loss, UD dropped to 6-9 and 0-3 in the CAA while COC improved to 12-5 and 3-0 in the league.
Junior Maria Bellinger led the way with 17 kills on 45 swings for a .285 attacking percentage. Bellinger has hit above .200 in every conference match so far this season and has recorded double-digit kills in every league match this season. Junior Cailey Bracken put up 13 kills of their own with a .294 attacking percentage, her best in conference play. Junior Bailey Pearlman had eight kills, tying her conference best while senior Brooke Robertson added seven kills.
Bracken added 11 digs to her 13 kills for her seventh double-double of the year. Junior libero Andie Hanus had 20 scoops for the second-straight match and tied the Cougars’ McKala Rhodes for most during the match. Sophomore Courtnie Roberts had eight digs and nine Blue Hens’ posted at least one.
