Smyrna 2, Wilmington Friends 1: Dakota Kerr’s goal in the 68th minute snapped a 1-1 tie and gave the Eagles the victory.
Fitzgerald Freeman tallied a first-half goal for Smyrna while Abdul Musa made 11 saves as the Eagles were outshot, 12-4.
Lake Forest 9, Del. Public Safety & Security 1: Jarred Camper, who scored twice, was one of eight Spartans to score in the contest.
Also scoring for Lake Forest were Cameron Beulah, Tyler Chalmers, Jonathan Gomez-Garcia, Coleman Morris, Noah Morrow, Andrew Smith and Griffin Martinez.

Wesley’s Woodruff honored: Wesley College freshman defensive end Stefon Woodruff was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance in Wesley’s 33-0 shutout win over TCNJ on Saturday.
The St. Georges grad, who transferred from Delaware in the offseason, had four sacks, including one that caused a fumble that the Wolverines recovered in the fourth quarter.
College soccer
MEN, Washington College 4, Wesley 1: Chimaobi Ikwuagwu (Caesar Rodney) netted the only goal for the Wolverines in the loss.
Goalie Jake Price made eight saves for Wesley (1-8), which was outshot 27-7.
College volleyball
Wesley 3, Lancaster Bible 0: The Wolverines improved to 9-3 with the 29-27, 25-7, 25-14 victory.
College field hockey
Hens up to 5th in poll: Delaware moved up one spot to No. 5 in this week’s Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I poll.
Delaware (6-1) received 975 points and two first-place votes following Sunday’s 2-0 shutout win over then-No. 2 Penn State.
Connecticut (7-0), the Blue Hens opponent this coming Sunday, remained in the No. 1 spot with 1,165 points and 43 first place votes.
Delaware returns home this weekend to host No. 20 Albany (3-3) at 6 p.m. on Friday and No. 1 Connecticut on Sunday at noon. Admission at Rullo Stadium is free.
UD’s Oltmans honored: Delaware goalie Emmeline Oltmans collected her first Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week honors Tuesday.
The senior led No. 6 Delaware to a 2-0 victory over the previously-undefeated Nittany Lions (7-1). Oltmans posted eight saves, including a crucial penalty stroke stop in the 52nd minute, to help the Hens to shutout a top-four opponent for just the second time in program history.
Oltmans is the Hens’ career leader for minutes played (4911:44) and wins (54) and is seventh all-time with 10 shutouts and ninth with 248 saves.
