Millsboro - Rose E. Wright, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Wilmington, died peacefully Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 at Milford Center. Rose was a true matriarch of the Wright Family. Until falling ill with Alzheimer's approximately 8 years ago she was the rock that kept the family together, always putting them before herself. Placing individuals before her own interest was simply the way of life for Rose. Even while fighting her illness, the nurses commented about the care she took for other patients. She was a true fighter and made sure that her family was together and comforted before taking the road home to our dear Lord. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred H. Wright (Harold). She is survived by her son, George H. Wright (Millsboro, Del.), Grandsons, Todd A Wright (Hartly, Del.), Troy L. Wright (Oak Park, Calif.), great -grandsons, Christopher T. Wright and Finn Michael Gilbert-Wright, and great-great-grandson Xavier Ruark. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, Del. 19720 where a viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. www.mccreryandharra.com
