Hitchens Dellinger, 88 FORMERLY OF LAUREL - Rosa Boyd Hitchens Dellinger passed away Tues., Mar. 12, 2013 in the Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delmar, Del. Born in Logan, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Maggie Tacket and Farley Boyd. She was a homemaker. She attended Christ Evangelistic Church in Laurel and the Laurel Senior Center. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her first husband, Harold M. Hitchens; her second husband, Robert O. Dellinger; and three grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Charles Hitchens and Harold Hitchens both of Seaford; and Douglas Hitchens of Bridgeville; five daughters, Lois A. LeCates of Laurel, Peggy J. Ellis of Laurel, Brenda Quillen of Fla., Diane Diaz of S.C., and Shirley Hitchens of Delmar, Del.; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sat., Mar. 16, 2013 at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front & King Sts, Seaford, DE, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to services.
